5 Points to Prevent Construction Formwork Deformation

Deformation often happened on construction formwork, so we must to pay attention to do maintenance to prevent formwork deformation during usage. Preventing construction formwork deformation is mainly in the following five points.

1. After the wooden formwork is installed and passed the strict inspection, should pour concrete in time to prevent the building formwork from being exposed to the sun or rain for a long time to absorb water and deform.

2. The beam bottom support distance between each point ensures that the load effect is not affected by the span impact and deformation. On the ground support bottom, a stable and hard object should be placed to ensure that the support point does not sag, and pay attention to waterproofing.

3. In the construction planning of the formwork and support system, the self-weight, load and additional pressure and impact force of the concrete should be considered to ensure that the construction support of the formwork can meet the bearing capacity, stiffness and stability and safety.

4. For reinforced concrete beams and slabs with an intermediate support span of not less than 4 meters, the arched construction formwork shall be assembled according to the planning requirements.
